How we started
The Arbolus story so far
After years in the expert network space, Sam Glasswell and Will Leeming saw an opportunity to modernise an industry stuck in the past. In 2018, they founded Arbolus, built to be global from day one, and quickly gained traction in strategy consulting.
Today, we're a data business built on over 1 million data points across thousands of companies, backed by a community of 200K+ experts.
What started as a network for finding expert knowledge has become a platform where that knowledge is structured, visible, and valued for clients making high-stakes decisions, and for experts sharing what they know.

2019
First funding round closed.
2020
Barcelona and New York offices opened. Enterprise ready product launched.
2022
Series A funding round closed. We opened an office in India, hit 100 employees and launched Canopy!

2024
#62 in the FT1000 Fastest Growing European Companies report and listed in Sifted 100 Fastest Growing Startups in UK and Ireland.
